Responsibility begins before operations
Environmental care, regulatory discipline and respect for the territory are part of project planning from the exploration stage.

Our approach
Manage impacts with the same rigor used to assess geology.
VLGOLD treats environmental management as a project-development discipline. Decisions about access, field campaigns and future infrastructure must consider regulatory requirements and the characteristics of each territory.
At Bagaginha, Environmental Operating License no. 14/2025 is valid through March 25, 2029. This license does not replace the mining authorizations required for each activity.
Environmental compliance
Licensing requirements and conditions are incorporated into the planning of every applicable stage.
Territorial respect
Field activities are planned with attention to land use, access, local context and stakeholder relationships.
Technical prevention
Environmental and operational risks are assessed before mobilization, with controls proportionate to the work.
Traceability
Records, responsibilities and evidence of compliance support oversight and continuous improvement.
Commitment to accurate communication
Sustainability claims are limited to practices, licenses and commitments that can be supported. VLGOLD does not publish unsupported impact, compensation or community-benefit indicators.
